3. Content is king! My cover connected me with music legend Diane Warren & my brand landed me in Rolling Stone. Here is how strategic social media content can propel your brand.

brand, management, strategy, identity, positioning, market, competition, customer, loyalty, communication, advertising, promotion, reputation, influence, perception

Hey there, this is Bobby Baskaran and this is part three on why it's important to have a powerful personal brand. Let's talk strategy. So content creation is your best friend. Share your knowledge through blogs, videos, podcasts, social media. You know, show people what you know and how you can help them. Quality content is going to establish you as a thought leader in your field. There's a whole bunch of AI platforms that can do really, really cool videos. There's platforms like this that allow you to use audio as a way to articulate what value and provide value to people. So it's not difficult at all. The second is network like a pro. Attend industry events, join online communities, look at content that's out there and engage with it. Respond, comment, share stuff. People then see you as someone who is genuinely interested in that vertical, whatever your vertical might be. Don't just sit there expecting people to kind of engage with your content when you're not prepared to engage with others and do this in a real world way as well, not just online. When you're talking to someone, let them talk about what they have to offer as well and I think that's when you're going to get your best result. So building a strong network is going to open many, many doors for you. Be visible, engage in relevant discussions, post regularly and don't be afraid to put yourself out there. Don't be afraid to present your message. Personally, I've attracted so many top-tier music industry folks by tagging them in relevant, well-prepared content. A simple example is songwriter Diane Warren, you can look her up, who she's got multiple Grammys and an Oscar, engaged with a cover I recorded of her song, Blame It On The Rain. You might remember the Milli Vanilli song, Blame It On The Rain. She wrote that song. So I did an acoustic version that was unique and authentic. That caught her attention and she followed me and engaged and commented with me. So when you offer genuine value and uniqueness, influential people are more likely to engage with your content and that then brings credibility that they're bringing now on you and potentially now they're bringing a whole new audience with them that is going to be connected to your content. So impact on business and future endeavors. So are you wondering now how all of this translates into business success, all this personal brand stuff I'm talking about. So a strong personal brand attracts people, it attracts clients, partners and opportunities like bees to honey, trust me. It's helped me land multiple senior roles and just speaking and mentoring gigs. It also got me featured in Rolling Stone magazine not once but twice. So long term it opens doors for career moves, it opens doors for personal projects. A strong personal brand can lead to collaborations with other industry leaders, invitations to speak at conferences and even media features. So when people recognize you as a leader in your field, you're going to have endless opportunities. Your brand's an investment in your future and there's some substantial results to be had because once people connect with you, once people trust you, they're going to connect to anything that you present. It doesn't matter what you decide to do for business, what products you're offering, what different pathways you might choose to go down. These people are going to come with you and be interested in those things because they are connected to your personal brand first. Really famous actors, people like Ryan Reynolds, people like The Rock, they've got so many other business endeavors that they can just start anytime they want and people are going to be interested. They're now selling vodka and gin and they're buying football teams and they're The Rock's got some cosmetic men's line. He's got a ready-made audience that is actually going to pay attention to what he has to say. Yes, of course, a lot of his fans might not be customers that he might want but it doesn't matter. He's got such a vast audience connecting with him that he can attract their attention, present the value and then those people will decide whether they want to buy his thing. That's the power of a personal brand. I just want to wrap things up. Personal branding is not just a fancy term. So it's a vital part of your business and personal success. Define your brand, be consistent and engage authentically. Start today and watch the magic happen. I only started really focusing on my personal brand maybe six or seven years ago. That's all. Just by being consistent, it's actually made a massive difference in my credibility and my own expert positioning. So a strong personal brand can open the doors that you never even thought possible. I'm going to put a lot more content on this platform. Let's build those brands. Follow me for some really, really cool actionable intelligence on how you can use marketing and branding to improve your business outreach and lead generation. It doesn't matter if you're an entrepreneur, if you're still working 95 and you want to start a business, whether you're a startup or a larger business, there's always room to grow and improve. Let's do this together. I'm Bobby Baskarin and it's been fantastic talking to you. I hope you enjoyed what I've been talking about and I'm going to put a lot more out. So speak to you soon.
