Hey everyone, coach Kevin Julie back today to talk about power statements in this video. We're going to replace the old elevator pitch with a power statement that drives more value and shows your buyers that you're passionate about what you do. So let's go ahead and talk about this. So the elevator pitch has been around for a really long time. Right? And the spirit behind it is somebody that you would have been dying to get a meeting with trying to get a meeting with steps into an elevator hit the button and now you know that you got from the lobby to 410. What's a to get them to agree to a meeting? So let's ditch the pitch because that's not what we're trying to do anymore a power statement tells potential buyers and people that are interested about the passion that you have for what you do and why I connect value. So if I was going to do an old elevator pitch about myself, I would say hey, I'm Kevin Dooley and I'm a business growth coach and I can provide guidance and mentorship for Founders and I can help them grow their revenue. Pretty boring right but if I turn that into a power stay but it's more like hey, I'm Kevin dually. I have startup Founders and other Business Leaders realize their dreams I take what's inside of them and help them get that out and with strategy and tactics and mine's didn't skills that I share my insight and experience and I dyed them the whole way to their dreams. So now I'm going to more exciting right? So now what happens is depending on the setting if I'm in a group of people I get people walking up to me saying hey, that was pretty cool. Tell me more about that. Right? Like if I do it the old way it's kind of like maybe I had somebody a business card they take a note and if they ever remember down the road then they think about me again, but you're trying to have an impact on people right depending on your business. You're likely in a very competitive market right? Almost everything is so you want to stand out from the competition from the other options to solve the problem replace your elevate. Ketchup with a power statement now.
