Hey guys, I'm recording this right now from the beautiful and sunny Puerto Rico. I'm literally sitting on the bench in between two words, respectful and life. And you may be wondering what does this have to do with business and what does this have to do with leadership or what does this have to do with you. I want to encourage you to really dig deep within yourself and define respect. Define as a business owner, for a leader, or for whatever position that you may have. But what does respect mean for you? Now for me, this means treating people with dignity, treating people like they are people listening more than I speak. And sometimes that could be difficult for others to understand. But then that goes to the word life. Life is about choices. Life is about how we choose to live it. And so even when it comes to respect and being respectful as a business owner, as a business leader, it's important to say hey put this into life perspective. If I be rude towards a person right now and God forbid something happens to that person, I can never go back and apologize to that person. Not only that, I don't know the impact my words may be having on this person for that particular day, that particular time. So I'm always thinking about when I say something, I want to make sure that I say it in a respectful manner. And I want to say it in a way that I am keeping in mind that life is short and I want to preserve life for any individual that may be going through anything. Okay, thank you. So yeah, pardon me, that was actually one of the people coming to let me know that the park is about to close. So I'll wrap it up. Be respectful. Respect life. Be a good leader. Good leadership starts with you being good to yourself. So find time to respect yourself and honor your life in a way that it will be meaningful and impactful to others. Until next time, you guys take care.
